. When you go to ancient towns, what you want to feel most is the simplicity and quietness. But now too many ancient towns are invaded by business and buried by tourists; Such as Wuzhen, Zhouzhuang, Tongli, Xitang, Nanxun and so on. There are many ancient towns in China that really have ancient flavor, style and atmosphere. They are far away from commercial packaging. Today, I recommend nine unpopular but beautiful ancient towns. Let’s start while there are few people!
Dawu ancient town
Dawu ancient town is located on the East Bank of Lijiang River. It is an ancient town with a history of thousands of years. Nowadays, there are few commercial traces here, and even public toilets are difficult. As far back as 600 years ago, Dawu, with its “greatness”, became the top of the four Dawu towns in Guangxi (Luwei in Binyang, Rongwei in Cangwu, Qiaowei in Guixian).
the old Dawu Street stretches for 2 kilometers along the Lijiang River. The narrow street is paved with green stone slabs. On both sides of the stone slab road are well preserved old houses. Wanshou bridge, a single arch stone bridge built in the Ming Dynasty, still spans the south of the town; The Gaozu temple, Hanhuang temple, Guangdong, Hunan and Jiangxi Guildhall built in the Qing Dynasty, as well as the five mile long Qingshiban road and the green brick and tile buildings in the town have all become the witness of the ancient polder town.

The existing wumiao temple, Yuwang temple, and theater are built. The upper and lower end of the street are connected with the village by the river corridor.
